Aris Paraschou
Aris Paraschou originates from Stratoni, Halkidiki, and is the founder and legal representative of AristoTales. With deep roots in his place of origin, his long-standing vision has been to return and actively contribute to the development of his grandparents’ village through initiatives that empower young people and highlight the region’s local identity.
He is a graduate of the Department of Educational and Social Policy, specializing in Adult Education, and holds a Master’s degree in Intercultural Dialogue and Education. His academic background is complemented by extensive professional experience in non-formal education, human rights education, and the management of European programs.
He is a member of the Pool of Trainers of the Council of Europe in the Youth Sector and a certified trainer of the National Agency for Erasmus+ / Youth and the European Solidarity Corps in Greece. Through this role, he has contributed to strengthening organizations and young people in areas such as participation, democracy, inclusion, and social cohesion.
In parallel, he serves as the Head of the Greek National Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation, promoting intercultural dialogue and cooperation between societies across Europe and the Mediterranean. This position reflects both his international recognition and his strategic ability to build partnerships and collaborative networks.
As the head of AristoTales, he combines expertise in:
- Strategic planning and organizational development
- Management of European and international projects
- Design and implementation of non-formal learning programs
- Empowerment of citizens and communities in rural and remote areas
His personal vision is fully aligned with the mission of AristoTales: to create opportunities for local citizens, connect the region’s local identity with a European perspective, and transform a small rural community into a hub for dialogue, education, and sustainable development.
